Sigh.... Ron didn't say you couldn't get one anymore, he just said they don't make them anymore. Now I'd be interested if you said you could have one delivered tomorrow with a 2012 year manufacturing stamp, because I'd breathe a sigh of relief.

Sure you can, in component form. A NIB drag powerhead was dropped off late last year much to my bank accounts demise. So a news flash for you "Mercs going 4 stroke blah blah everything". Where is the oil sump going to go in a 12 in mid? Optiflop development would have ended years ago, honestly the Veradont is an over engineered nightmare, and then we have the gook 4 strokes...

Are these F1 motors Opti Max?

Lars, no plans to job APBA in 2012? I won't ask why as I know the answer.

I've felt the center pods should be wider not sure these are, but the F1 Dudes run through some seriously rough water. Center pods help you get through this kind of water...

I have not been an APBA member paid by me, for three years. And the reason I'm not driving a race boat is I'd have to join APBA, and I'm not going to do it!

Ron..No, The UIM F1 Merc engines are NOT Optimax..more or less the same powerhead used in F1 PROP.

Hehe..no APBA fee this year for me..I do lots of cyber work for free because the sport have been very good to me..!!
