    Cool 13 x 23 cleavers

    UM, DUH

Do all of you prop builders not see the abunce of folks looking for 22" - 25" cleaver props for the 3 cyl engines ?

ATT: Mr Ron Hill. I use the term Mr. w/ respect because anyone who can and has lasted this long in the boat business, must be doing something good

    EXCEPT !

Still dont see the over-the-hub cleaver casting that you were to offer this spring. I have seen pictures of some of your castings of these props, but not finished props.

No offense ment, but some folks would love to have a good casting (@ a reasonable price) to send to the prop shop of their choice.

Could you please offer & post 13 x 23/25 castings for sale in the future /

I think that you will be pleased w/ the number of orders you get for these.

    Thanks

    LT

The 13" diameter isn't going to fit on ur merc (unless the 12 3/4 I have is actually bigger). I had to remove the anode and it definitely won't fit with a foil

they must run a smaller box size on the 40hp mercs .i bought a 13 3/4 x 23p omc srx a while back and it fitted on my 55 merc (same as a 60hp)with room to move.the hub was a bit long though.

Yours must be what they call a Bigfoot model. I think they have lower gears and can run a larger diam prop for pushing a load.

You fellows need to specify which motors you want to run them on. E.g. an old OMC 75 on a V-bottom (like an Allison) needs 12" dia., a 75 or SST60 motor on a tunnel needs 12.5" dia. The shortshaft 75 is a small gearcase motor geared 15:28. Are you guys trying to run the props on bigger dia. gearcases? I admit that the 90 hp Mercury is a motor I'm not familiar with. Yet. Back in the old days we didn't need 13" dia. unless we ran the OMC 140 on a 16' Allison. That's a fat-hubbed gearcase, geared 1:2.

    Smile Proop / Engine Size

Just to clarify the engine size, yes: 49 ci j/e w/ nitro g-case,

I have misspoken as to the size, Just want the same basic casting I used to buy from OMC & then send to Mr Hendrich for work.

    Yes the end result was a 12 to 12-1/4" X 22" prop.

Cant seem to get my hands on the J/E part #, but these props came from OMC Parts & Accessories w/ the black teflon coating, which was immediately removed by the prop shops.

Bill Gore, can you please post the J/E part # Here please ?

Seems that when you buy one from someone now, they have already beed hacked up pretty bad.
