Mercury vs OMC ???

How hard would it be to figure out which Manufacturer has won the most Championships throughout all the years of APBA & UIM Outboard Racing?
Having grown up in and around a Mercury Outboard & MerCruiser I/O & Inboard Dealership, am I just BRAINWASHED to think that the most would have to have been powered by MERCURY's?

There is no doubt that the overwhelming number of wins, championships and records have been set by Mercs.

You have to temper this with the knowledge that the number of entries and attempts by Mercs overshadows the number of entries and attempts by other brands by an even greater margin. The shear number of Mercs starting makes the answer clear.
