Default Lucas Oil Speedway date is set

The NBRA and the ODA are proud to announce an agreement was reached with Lucas Oil Speedway to put on a race on their lake that was built strictly for boat racing. The date will be July 6,7,8 2012. The money will be very good, full details will be available next week when Lucas Oil puts out their press release. If you want to participate in the future of kneel down racing in our country put this one on your schedule!!!!!

    Default Awesome!

As APBA continues spend money like a "Drunken Sailor" working on the web site, media exposure, social network, be everybody's everthing on the internet. NBRA just went out rolled up their sleeves and landed one of the best race sites ever!

    Congratulations!!

    Default Great News

The NBRA has accomplished something 99% of boat racers never thought possible. Great job.

At this point, we need to forget about sanctioning bodies, and politics. If you are a true boat racer at heart, you see the potential this has. If you are true to your heart, and boat racing you will make every attempt to be here and race. NBRA races all Stock & Mod classes. They do it in a way unique to them. It rolls up to a consolidated class structure, a much more simple rule book that is well written. It is about knee jockies doing what they love.

So before anyone gets critical of the lake, the pits, or the NBRA stop and think about where you want boat racing to be in 25 years. Where do you want it in 5 years ? How about 10 ? This deal here can put us in the mainstream entertainment level. Can you imagine your neighbor telling you he saw you on TV last night on the Lucas Oil Motorsports hour ? It is about exposure to grow the sport. This is going to get us a lot of exposure. And it is happening this July. Be a part of history, or be history.

Is there an APBA club anywhere near Wheatland? If so, they should be all over this facility "as well" working together with NBRA IMO. Lucas is great to work with as we look forward to working with them on the West Coast events in Region 12. They have stepped up to be associate sponsors of 2 APBA events so far this season hosted by SCSC.

There is no APBA club that I am aware of in the area. The south is pretty much NBRA except for the FL GA and SE areas.

I also think it would be bad if some other sanctioning body tried to take over an event that NBRA has been working on for 6 or 7 years. Respect someones hard work and dedication. I can assure you that the race at Lucas is being handled by professionals and honestly we have it covered from a sanctioning body point of view. Thanks for the thoughts and concerns though, feedback is always important to make an event the best it can be. We hope to see you at the Lucas Oil Speedway race with your support for kneel down boat racing, and Lucal Oil.

    I hope so too.
Next for me is Burley, ID (first time since 1987 kneel downs are on the Inboard sanction) then Long Beach, CA or Grass Lakes, MI
