Default New Sport C in Region 8

I designed and built this boat over the winter. Early testing shows some promise, but there is prop and setup work to do. I don't expect to be particularly competitive this year, but maybe over the long haul....

First race in Champlin, MN, June 10th.

Funny build story Bob ! That's dedication... Question, I thought all sport c's (&above) had 3 sided geometry on the outer sponsons, yours has 2 (see pic). Does it make a difference in handling or have an influence on top speed ?

Actually, I'm more like your second sketch, though not as much angle. I don't know that the shape here makes a difference. I'll find out.

I was actually looking at this picture, maybe it's not the same hull.

Same hull, but the sides are so diminished at the transom it's difficult to see the true shape. The angle for the lower side is the same from transom to sponson tip, and the upper side is vertical that entire length.

Hey Bob; We're happy to see you back in a sport c! I was on your website, it sounds like the weigh issue is under control! We'll see you at Champlin.
