I figure Russ could hire a consultant and see if changing fonts to silver would help us get on TV.

Real silver leaf? Or just silver paint? Probably no real difference when you are on TV.

Ron , your genius is amazing. I completely overlooked Rule 83, Section 8, Paragraph 3 where it discusses lifetime memberships. To summarize, it says regular or associate members may become lifetime members for $500. That's $1,000 with voting privileges. And for $1,500 the five year waiting period for voting can be waived.

I think that boat group I had written about, only used something a little like silver, it must have been carbon steel because I can see a little rust.

Once the powers-to-be of this "offical" pepper group desides what the fonts color should be, we can have a bake sale to get funds for TV!

I have a handful of chilipetins to take to DePue. These are the little red hot ones I sent to Bill Van. If anyone wants some...let me know. First come...first serve.

Default Keep In MInd, You Need Four For Points

Make sure you have four, even if your cousin brings two, otherwise you won't get points.

I'm still having trouble with this points system. I think I will have qualifying heats "Whew", and sort them by size so I have Pappa Pepper, Mama Pepper, Baby Pepper and Doctor Pepper to taste. That way I can have a full field with three teams and not get disqualified. The ones that didn't qualify can go into Charley's alligator stir fry.

Default Well, The Way We Always Did It

I think, Russ has to help us here! I don't think we planned for elimination heats. So, we surely wouldn't want to get double points.

You realize we need new pepper to beat, not to be getting points and winning events?

This is the main reason Russ doesn't want Green Peppers voting, I mean they could take over, and god knows, "We" KNOWS HOW TO RUN THIS ORGANIZATION. IF GREEN PEPPER EVER GOT TO VOTE, THEY'D TAKE OVER. Next thing you'd know, Green Peppers wold think they are as good or better than other peppers.

Well....seems to me Russ should come to DePue and inspect my peppers. I will take the chance to cross the state lines, but once they are in DePue...they're history.

They start out green. I think they are probably a pepper that might not be able to be beat. At least in North America. So if you want a pepper to beat, maybe I should bring some green ones too. But only four. I'm not sure any other pepper could beat the green ones, but if we don't want green to win??????????????? Ask Russ.

Default Nothing Aganist Gree Bell's Winning

Russ just doesn't want Green Bells to vote, for fear they'd take over.

Russ, isn't an inspector, he counts the money and collects the money, but he doesn't know "****" about inspecting. We have "SPECIALISTS" who inspect!

Scrutineers, are qualified to taste peppers. The NPA adheres to the Scoville temperature scale. Favor is not part of the equation, and flavor NEVER gets points.

he NPA uses the Wilbur Scoville scale of 0-1,000,000 in heatness.
