    Default pinning carrier

    Does the carrier on the nitro case Ned to be pinned when run on the surface. Don't need to spin it in my brandy new unit!!

    i used to pin them but if it`s not done right you can pull the carrier out of center and cause internal damage over time cracking of the carrier and leaking are all part of that deal.Use a good hi grade adhisive like the gray stuff from yahama works well forgot the part number but have not had a problem since i stoped pinning them.

    Tell me more about that adhesive I want to secure the center main reed cage on an early 73 Merc 25SS - 22 c.i 2 cylinder split case. Do you still have a tube so a pic or PN can be obtained.

    yes it was a yhama bond but what one not sure the color was gray when i get to the shop i`ll look

    Its called yaham bond 4 this is the part number ACC-BOND4-MA-00
