I have been wondering about the crank on this sucker, they seem to bear about 7000 RPM after that the the destiny is unpredicted.
Taking a closer look at the moving parts noticed that old version (before 1982 or so) had much heavier pistons and rods.
Further investigation revealed that the crank had a totally different factor with less countervveights.
Less counterweights and heavier pistons, how can it be? The new version up to 2000 seems to run much smoother.
Want to run the engine well above 7000 RPM and the parts staying inside the block.
