Thats where i got mine He did a beautiful job on them. You do however have to add a center hole for the 56 in adapter.

I seen some there but it was for a 49 ci motor and didn't know if they would work for the 56 adapter plate?

Is there that much benefit over stock, I don't run them or most of the guys racng up here don't run them and handling is not an issue with string steering.

String steering is holding the powerhead solidly in place by the arms they are bolted directly to the midsection.with the tiller and conventional steering torque is transmitted thru the upper motor mount.

the 20"exhaust addapter is taller than the 15" addapter, the drive shaft and the shift shaft will not reach.

none of the aluminium parts are uniform in section so you cant mill the exhaust housing or either inside housings.
You can cut and shut the drive shaft and cut and re thread the shift shaft and cut the water tube though.
Seaway has all the parts you need

This has never been an issue for my 56 on 49 15" mid with a 56 long shaft adapter plate. Lots of racers up here with the same set up and never heard anyone having an issue.

I've never compared the thickness of the adapter plates what's the difference.

    Cheers,
