Default Champion Hot Rods at the Winnebagoland Marathon

The 1955 Hot Rod had the longer driveshaft housing (1") and dual cavitation plates.
The '55 had the angled spark plugs + no spray shield.
The rope plates are slightly different. Photos by Russ Kolpin.

Hi Cooper, I dont get to go to any races where im from, but I have a hotrod I intend to restore to modern specs. I am curious about the small rope-pulley type flywheels like the 15SS motors use. They look like a motoplat motorcycle ignition with a small pro-stock type wheel. What part # are those components so I can find them later on? thanks.
