60 merc 2001 3 3clinder hyrdo tech marine ported! need jets?????

http://youtu.be/CORyNUf1vPw?hd=1its a short shaft 40 frame 60 power head n 60 carbs cut tunner to 8.5 n flaired the end . does the high end jet need up sizing because of port work. it has hydro tech reeds.. thanks in advance .. i like the look on a bassboat drivers face when a tiller 40 just passed um in a skiff

Do you know what jets are in the motor right now? And what kind of hydrotech reeds do u have? Carbon Fiber?

Im not Shure on the size jets the carbs are from a 2001 60 Bigfoot and the reeds r carbon fiber 250 dollars from hydro tech . John at hydro tech is porting the block and assembling it once the pistons come in . He has been very helpful in the info about how to cut the tuner n flair it. He said the jets that r in the 60 carbs should be good enough , but I wanted to ask everyone here that is spankin dat a$$! What to do?? I know a buddy ported an omc n went up in jet size n gain 2 pitches in prop cause of it! But I know that's not comparing apples to apples.

Yea man, you should be good with a 59 or 60 main jet.

I looked up the jets from the mke number on side of carb n it's an.60 jet other models same year different mke number had .58 jets ! I looked up a 75 hp n it has .62 jets in it they 5 dollars a piece so I ordered them n ill let y'all know if it makes a difference on my top end once I get out of double oil.

runnin on double oil great i can feel the power differance wow/ cant wait to open it up.. any sugeschinss on props? would love a 4 blade . i have a worked 19p 3 blade .
