    Default Beveling a crank.

So I have this 40 ci. crank that lost a main so I tryed doing some beveling at the reed area. The motor I am building is a 300 /40 ci. Read in Brinkman's book that this is more for Mods but my motor is more of a Hot Rod. Is this worth the time for a motor in the 7000+- rpm range? The bevel is a 45 deg.

Yep,that is what I started with. Brinkman also talked about the pumping needed with out pipes. So I will just clean things up. Going to use a H tower with no pipes. That is unless doing the full job helps a stock H housing?
    Thanks Alen.
