    Bring it to the races at moss point. 62mph is in the race. Might sell it over there.

    62 might be in "a race" but it definitely isn't in Hank's race lol. I would love to bring it down, but an 8 1/2 hr drive one way and only getting Sundays off has me tied up on that trip.

    jwill, what do you consider a fishing load? With the 15p it'll push 3 guys (one in the front, one in the middle, and the driver) with 3 dozen decoys, dog, and all other related gear in the 46-48 mph range. Granted that's not an ideal weight distribution, but that's a lot of weight to be pushing as well.

    Man, that's a heavy load. Originally, I was hoping for a short shaft motor, but that sounds like a heck of a package.

    The motor was originally a short shaft. I got tired of water coming over the transom if I shut it down to quick or backed down a steep ramp. Switched it to a long shaft and got a new boat and I can't imagine a better set up for the purpose of hunting/fishing and the occasional day of playing.
