Alan Stinson was the driver who co-drove with Jerry Walin, in 1970, to win Parker by a foot...Stinson could drive that old DeSilva wing...

Anyway, I thought Allison boats were built by him (Alan Stinson)..Allison. It wasn't until about 1976 that I met Daris Allison...at Dayton, OHio...I kept asking if his name was really Allison...I wanted to know where Alan Stinson was!!!! Most of them boys in OHIO thought I was nuts...


Benny Robertson is one I'm not sure we have on the Who's Who section....but he needs to be added.

Just Add Water Team was owned by Bob Thompson of Indianapolis. Bob sponsored Kenny Stevenson, also, in the Molinari that Lou Eppel owned...that Art Kennedy drove...Not sure Bob ever raced, but he's a real gentleman...

Ben Robertson Jr "with crew" in the Mach Propellers & Bud Davie sponsored Scond Effort Furnell boat.This boat had a Second Effort two spark plug per cyl V8 engine and won the 1987 Three Rivers Regatta at Pittsburgh.This was also the last of the big bore V8 racing as the engines were downsized to 3 liters after this .

Another view. We repaired this boat at our shop . As the boat suffered much stress it was not raced again and used for display etc for Pennzoil . Nicki purchased another with safety capsules and F16 canopies.
