Rich had a prior commitment..... but I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to connect. It sounds like you did alright BK....riding around in a legend...with a legend.

Soon you'll be as obsolete as me.

    B. Valachovic you have a fine collection of photographs, many thanks for sharing them with us and please continue to do so as it is very much appreciated. I also have one of ANDY BULLEN at the London Grand Prix in about 1984 although I'm not sure what hull this is, any ideas?

That is 1985. The engine is the Fuel Injected Lower Center Gravity engine, and the boat is from the year before , Notice the rear cowling on the boat that was not changed from the carb version engine and shows the height difference. They did this change to keep the boats from blowing over in the straights and barrell rolling in the turns.
    Good photo of Andy

    Default Burgess / Shakespear

The Burgess boats were a spinoff of the Shakespear race boats. I beleive Burgess worked for Shakespear until his untimely passing in the late 70s and took over the company.Shakespear was Johnson Outboard affiliated . I do not see Burgess boats around or as prevelant any longer. They still around Paul
