Ron built four 22 footers, I think... Right here, on 17th Street in Costa Mesa, California, in front of what was Betty Cook's race shop, then....

Lou Brunett from Ojai, CA had a yellow one, then he put Evinrudes on it, then Mercruisers, then I think Bob Nordskog got it and put a big block in it and shw went like 127 MPH for a KT record at Parker...

Bobby Massey ran the red one and blew it over at Parker, seems this might be the one in the picture..

Pruitt had a white one, that he set the engines back a foot and WON the Elsinore 500, overall...

Bill Cooper had one that came with a Mercruiser, but he blew that over testing at Parker and Rudy Ramous bought it and turned it into a triple outboard...

Rudy's late start at Havasu, 1970, casued Joe Fielder to nose die in the glass Molinari/Carlson...was no one's fault, as Rudy left the pits legally, but the wave he left by going almost last, and Joe being first...
