Depends on how fast you want to go, but you aren’t in the range where Hal Kelly designed the boat, that’s for sure. For that reason, and the fact that it’s just the way Hal Kelly intended it, I’d run the racing lower unit...If you just go with a fishing lower unit you just have a lake boat and I didn't want that. Depends on how you are going to use it.
