    Can you drop the sleeves and fill the compression relief port and make any more power?

    if there were the same, the part number be the same, two different part numbers,

    I think the 40,50,&60 powerhead 59 ci were the same motor. Only reason there were separate part numbers was diff reed stops and carbs I would imagine. I know the 60 aren't held back as much as the 40 are. But in the end you've still only got 59 ci unless there's something I'm missing

    Yeah I've heard the port timing was a little diff but in the the end after all port work was done wouldn't matter if it was a 40,50,55,or 60 - a 59 ci Merc block is a 59 ci Merc block regardless of hp rating.

    You've got the first Havoc w a Mega if you're the same guy I'm thinking about. Thinking about getting one myself. There's abunch to be learned on here these guys have helped me out a lot. Can't argue with experience and these guys have been through most all of it and forgt more than most will ever know.
