This is a really neat looking boat Ron. By it's appearance it looks to be a "sit down' style boat. V-bottom/chine walking is fun for those who like "on the edge" racing. It would be very enticing to me if you had built a hydroplane with the same dimensions as this V-bottom. Especially with a Yamato hanging on the back as they are plentiful and relatively inexpensive. If it is indeed a "sit down", you could be on to something here Ron, but I would prefer a hydro. If it is a "kneel down", well, at 62 years of age, my knees just wouldn't take the abuse. It's tough getting old when your mind and heart are young !!

Default The Honey Badger is An APBA Legal C Stock Hydro

I planned to build six of these and run 302 Yamato motors on them. At this time, I'm concerned that the Yamato is a two stroke and I can't seem to buy another one, I have five.
The Honey badger is the same size, plus 6 inches as a Japanese Gambling boat, but I have made the bottom more like an Allison type pad. I'm "Water Ready" just don't have a chase boat to my *** when I run out of gas!
