    Porting tips for a inline 6 cyl 1977 115, any information on improving the breathing of this engine?

    Sorry to say due to the configuration of the inline 6 Merc ... there is nothing you can do to them to increase the power .... except buy one with a higher HP rating
    Since 1925, about 150 different racing outboards have been made.

    Thats what I am doing, moving from a 115 to a 150 in hopes of finding a good running 175
