Default 2016: Free Signature Propellers by Hill Marine

SEE 2016 Rules at Post #137.

I've been thinking about this "Concept" for awhile now. I will give away some propellers.

    Here are the rules:

    1. You must tell me why you need a "FREE" propeller.
    2. You must tell me where and what boat, motor this propeller will be used. And you must post a picture of your boat on BRF.
    3. You have to convince me that giving you a "FREE" propeller will be good for Signature Propeller's business.
    4. Once you are a winner, you must tell us how the propeller performed. You must post pictures of your boat with the Signature Propeller on it.

I'm not setting a number of props I'm going to give away. It could be one prop, it could be 200. Well, my five propellers!

    Contest ends May 1st, 2014.

Ron you need to have some type of decal that goes on the side or back of the boat..so the boating public can tell the is a Ron Hill Signature Prop on the eng/boat.

    1. Business is slow, money is scarce.

    2. Hackensack, MN. The Dillon Laker 14, a 14' recreational tunnel boat for 60-80 hp motors. The hull is complete, waiting for spring to really arrive (it's -3 this morning) so I can get it out of the shop, set it up and get it on the water. I have a late-70s vintage 70 hp Mercury ready to go.

    3. Plans for the Laker 14 are already for sale, and a few are being built. I already recommend Signature props to my customers, and will continue to do so.

Not sure what prop I need. I'm thinking around 12 x 22 or thereabouts, cleaver or semi-cleaver. I'm open to suggestions.

    1. I need a "FREE" prop because money is tight.

    2. 14' HighTide BugBuster with the older style 20 Merc or a 13' Panther with a Yamaha 25. I can test on both. They are pad bottom fiberglass boats similar to the Fast Crafts, Falcons, etc.

    3. I have already converted 2 people to Signatures, and have recommended them to others around here. This would be good for your business because there are tons of people that run these boats down here and could use some testing to refer to.

    4. I would be glad to report how the prop works and post up pics with the signature.

I will be happy to try out anything 10x18 or 10x16 with high rake whether it is a chopper or a semicleaver.

This is the only pics I have from when I was redoing it. I will get better ones tomorrow

The first year Chad ran 45, I wouldn't let him change his prop until he could make consistent lap times. It took most of ten weekends of racing before he got to were his time were consistent. He finally had a podium finish at San Diego with a broken tip off that prop. Next race we tested props and he won.
