Where do you have the timing set? Is it at factory setting or more advanced? Those plugs protruding like they do into the combustion chamber could cause the engine to need less advance? Measure where it is and kick it retarded some. Is the ignition a CDI or points? I would use the NGK BP8H-N-10 plugs per the OEM recommendation, they are a great plug and similar to the NLA Champion L61Y which is a great plug for high speed running.

We use E3 Spark Plugs in all 3 of our SST-60 race boats with absolutely no problems. E3 Spark Plug number that we use is E3.32.

Thank you very much! Is there any gains from these plugs?

We have not done any "official" testing on power gains. We have noticed a slight power gain and feel comfortable using their plugs in our boat. Due to racing, we have not noticed any fuel economy/savings. We have not had an issue with fouling plug, broken plugs, motor not running correctly, etc. The E3 technical staff is very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions or concerns that we have. I would recommend trying them and seeing what you think.

Where can I get these plugs? How much do they cost per piece?
