    Default Plugs and jetting

I wanted to get a second opinion on my plugs. Running wot for 10min plug #1 is dry and plug #2 is barely wet. Both plugs are basically the same brown color. If it matters it was 80*F and I generally run anywhere from 15*-100* temps. 1548MV 1995 2stroke 2cyl Johnson 30hp 5400rpm 29mph

Currently .059" high speed jet. Thinking ill need to take it to .061"?

    Thank you very much

What is the brand/plug number? Is it the OEM plug #? The color of the center core looks ok to me, but try the 61 and see what happens. BTW plug reading requires a fresh set of plugs and quick shut off from WOT with no idling. Even short idle time will change the color and give a wet carbon condition.

Well now you will have an extra set of plugs.
What type and size engine are we talking about?
Post pics of the plugs when you pull them after test.
Do you really need the resister type (Q prefix for CDI systems) rather than just the L77JC4 plugs? Is plug electric feed back an issue?

All I can figure it must be a design requirement for the CDI system to prevent damage. So keep using them.
