I myself actually bought 90 carbs, wasn't going to put them on until I've tried it with the stock carbs. Is it worth removing the ring gear from the flywheel to reduce the rotating mass? I'm going pull start only.

Don't have any knowledge of OMC, they're not as common in the UK it seems. What's the weight difference between a 70ces and an equivelent OMC motor?
I'm running an SLT, and everyone runs either yamaha or tohatsu because they are lightweight and bulletproof.

The yamaha is slightly heavier compared to the OMC. The crank and rods on the yamaha weigh 1000 grams as I recall, so I would not do it.

Thanks for the reply guys !!! If i dont found a 70 ces head did you thinks a regular 70 head can do the work in waiting to found a ces head ?

CES head is approx. 150 lbs compression. You should be able to cut a stock head to 130 plus.
