Thanks for your response and advice. I have posted a tread for SST 60 Carbys and will await response. There has been discussion in AUS to run a new class using the OMC SST 60 but sourcing these engines in AUS is not easy as when they came into AUS in the late 80's early 90's most that were bought were modified by adapting the FT/FR/Mod 50 and 31M fronts.

    Default A question

Looks like a lot of fun! Do these classes run under the APBA banner/sanction? Thank you.

The class has never been an APBA class. It is a UIM class world wide. The Canadian version allows for more makes and models of motors.

That's good your not under APBA. If you were, they would have you install roll bars as they mandated the COR class to install them and we are only 5 mph faster than you guys. APBA pretty much killed the fastest growing class in the U.S. with their idiotic idea (crash bar) for proposed safety reasons. It stopped me from racing our COR boat. Have fun and good luck with your class and by all means stay away from APBA!!!

APBA does have a similar class FV75. Our drivers must wear cut suits same as SO. We also allow the modified safety cell same as the APBA Sport C rule.
