    What class might you be interested in running?
    Here are several different ways to go:
    The least being "spare air" that some guys stuff inside their capsule jackets or affix inside the boat. It only has enough for maybe 1 -2 minutes of extra air during an adrenaline situation (crash).
    Next is the pharangelic system (only operates when water is introduced) which the driver must A.) be conscious and "clear" the mouth piece. This is the typical everyday diver set up and is proven and good. The down side is in the event of submersion and unconscious (the good news is that rescue these days are on the scene within 10-20 seconds of impact.
    Last (IMO is the best)- full time on board air. This is what the jet fighters use. It is strapped or mounted inside the helmet and must be refilled after so many heats (usually two but could be every heat depending on your bottle.) This is also the most expensive, to my knowledge.
