    Default F4 S tunnel boat

Just wondering if anyone has fitted a larger motor to one of the Chinese Manufactured Molgaard F4 S tunnel boats and if so how did it handle?

there are a dog with the 4 stroke compared to the sst45 so there is your answer, maybe an old CC but the boat needs to be longer, they are what they are after 30 years or 2 cyl OMC power.

Was thinking about fitting V4 Yamaha on short mid, boat is 4.25m which would be legal and only about 20 kilos heavier than 60 4 stroke. Wanting to know if any one has done it before?

Imagine a V4 on a F3 boat, would be too much, tunnel hulls not like mono's weight of engine is critical to how they go
