The carbs in your picture are not the correct 45SST powerhead. The 45 high speed jets were from 56 to 58. The intermediate jets could be changed as well, but without checking the original size, can't recall what we used.

Anthony the "Outboarder" would be my guess as I think he ran some on a modded 45
You will need to tell him if thats 3 jet or a 2 jet carb as I cant see in the photo
How may jets in each side of the bowl?
