    Default Drive shaft Coupling

I'm looking for the best way to transition the drive shaft from a smaller diameter lower to a larger diameter drive shaft and allow access for changing the pump. I've heard of using impact sockets but have not gotten any guidance or pics to see the best way to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default Socket Wrench Works as A Coupler

Bill Curtis has done maybe 50 conversions, he doesn't even use an impact socket and I don't think he's had trouble at all. He has used the 45 SS driveshaft and gone to production Nitro gearcase, he cuts the shaft to length and the make a 1/2 square.

Email me and I'll give you Bill's email. RonHill@hillmarine.com
