can you show how you made this steering dampener system? I run a long shaft Stinger on a tiller handle. It wears me out on long runs.

The dampener will not reduce torque, it will only stabilized the steering. You also need an anti-torque bungee setup. Below is both the bungie and dampener setup.

I never noticed your battery under the motor before. That is trick! haha. We made it one step closer to getting to TopO this year. My brothers wife didn't flat out say "No!"... haha.
    Thank you!

Is the bungee and dampener something that you fabricated or is it something I can buy? I don't understand the pulley bungee system. I get the idea. It pulls against the prop torque. Why the pulleys?
    Thanks,
    Justin

the bungie/ pulley setup is a block and tackle, so you can tighten as needed. all custom fabricated.

yellow boat with Evinrude has not been out yet, saw 71mph with sst60 motor on it, should do 66+mph the 56ci Evinrude.
Have seen 69mph with Orange boat.
