Back then with letter to right he was in Stock, photo at top of this post is a Pro letter designation. What stock class was that back in 1983 ?

I don't know if Bobby ever ran stock. All I know is that he ran C Service Hydro and Runabout. Like Jeff said....that's a C Service motor on the pic from 1983. Sometimes Texas drivers didn't always conform to APBA numbers. Louis Williams with his 14 T was one. He was a huge AJ Foyt fan and so he wanted the number 14 in front.

A number of us were wondering where the Bolton equipment ended up. We were told it all was sold at an estate sale. There was also a flat deck Desilva in Bolton's garage too.

You have two service C service Evinrude motors and a Johnson PR. Good luck getting them to run. Before you try to start them you better get some coaching or you'll break your arm, seriously!

The fuel mixture is 2 quarts castor oil to 5 gallons of methanol.

And if you see the hair on your arms disappearing, that would be fire, for which C Service are also notorious--in the sun, you can't see that alky burning.
