I know there are a lot of Nitro gearcases out there. It seems these might be well worth a try!

The company has several other outboard gears for several brands, so they must have the "gear thing" figured out. Only these SST60 gears mention evaluation, so they must just be the latest offering. I would not hesitate to try a set. Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't any of the 2-cylinder gearcases with the straight skeg, which is technically a "Nitro" case, accept these gears and a 3-cylinder driveshaft..? Having these gear sets readily available again should make the short 15" exhaust towers the new "hens teeth".
