Happy Thanksgiving from BRF and Ron Hill!

I RECENTLY STARTED A THREAD ABOUT POLITICS, THOUGHT YOU MIGHT LIKE TO KNOW!

I also wrote a book with the help of TANA MOORE, RETIRED EDITOR of the APBA Propeller magazine. I want all pofits from this book to go to a dog rescue of Tana's choice,

You can order an autographed one for $30 by contacting me at ronhill@hillmarine,com. Or you can Pay Pal me, or call the shop with a CC, 714-855-2986

I tried to send this out to all members, did anyone get it?

Ron--- Havasu City-- What was the bar there??? Crazy Ed's??Whatever it was it got CRAZY a few times! I remember NYDAHL would just about BACKFLIP his barstool everytime a waitress walked behind him.

I called the shop to buy a book and got a real profeshinal[sp.] intro on all you do and make but no live bodies. Long holiday weekend? I'll try again next week.

P.S. I liked the coment you made about BOAT RACING trying to die but is still circling the drain. My thought on the matter,PRO racing died when the capsule class's started racing but nobody had the B---S to pull the plug. We sure had a lot of good times for a lot of years tho.

Trying to blame anything or anyone for boat racing's problems isn't easy.

Havasu's Outboard World Championships were set up to sell land. This Thanksgiving, November 2020, had more people driving off road cars than they ever had at the boat race for spectators.

People moving to the Sun Belt, different Toys have changed the landscape forever.

Boat races at La Paz, this weekend, had probably more spectators than the old World Championships.

And the cost of motorhomes, trailers and boats are crazy. Million dollar coaches everywhere! Thanks for the memories of CRAZY ED'S....Passed by Havasu Springs, yesterday, and VIVIDLY REMEMBER RAY NYDAHL DOING 100 MPH in rhat "BLACK COFFIN" SWITZER, 1968.

Nothing for anyone one to do, so they went to the boat races...more than 5,000. Less than 50 boats but it was a race...Good job SCSC!
