After starting our first Parker Enduro in 2013 we finally finished our first race with nothing breaking. We were slower on our pit stops than we planned for but we finished.

We had a James Perry 225 Promax shipped out from Tenn on 10/13 and didn't arrive until 11/3, so we had to run our stock backup 2.5 EE 200 on 46 carbs.

Our initial set up was a 89 Baker 20' Rampage ski layup with a 20" mid section but after testing we discovered the transome was unsafe to run.

We had to resort to my 18.6 Baker RST which Jerry Baker built for Delbert Teague to first race at the 7hr Parker Enduro in 86.
This had been my sprint boat for several years and I've been trying to avoid/saving it from the punishing Enduro.
Nevertheless we changed 20's stuff from the 20' Rampage to
the 18.6 after discovering our cut 15" mid was weeping from the midsection at the head bolt area.
After mounting the 20" stuff we realized.we had to run 2 1/2" under the pad because of limited adjustments on our setback.

After running and completing the entire race at 80-81 at 6000 rpm with our stock 2.5 with a A5 28p chopper we realized that our running 2 1/2 " below the pad wasn't our major issue it was the switch box that was quitting on the topend.
