Omc 60 2cyl

Looking to build a 2cyl omc short shaft motor for my lite wt.wooden runabout...what is the difference in the new 50 and the old 60 motors 2cyl?

don't think thay make a short shaft 50-60hp any more

Sorry guys schould have said old 50 and 60 omc 2cyl...So is there a huge difference in the internal engine specs...porting ect....

lookin at pistons, from 81-00 the 50-60hp looper takes the same bullets, 55hp
same bullets size(bore) dif' part. if ya can get a 60hp, get it. if ya got a 50hp ya can make a 60hp. mostly carb and pipe, what your putin it on will say what you want to do with the ports, maybe nutin.
