Default ClarkCraft CABOVER BEN HUR 11

Has anyone had any experience with one of these? I am NOT looking to race it just use it for fun. Here in Texas we usually have some wind and on large reservoirs that can add up to some waves.

I am not looking to get into serious wave action. I don’t want to be able to run it only in zero wind conditions. I always try to launch the boat on the end of the lake that the wind is coming from to minimize the effect the wind has on the reservoir.

If needed here is a link to the boat in question.

    Thanks in advance.

Default This can be a fun boat

This can be a very fun boat to play on the lake with. 3 very important safety items even for playing. 1 A GOOD life jacket. 2 A good helmet . 3 A working kill switch hooked to you before you go on the lake.

Thanks for your input. That is all I want it for is fun when its hot out. If I had it today I would be out on the lake, its 80 degrees here!

I do use a helmet, Type I offshore lifejacket and a kill switch. Didn't use them when I was young, but as they say live and learn (smile).

Mark Pugh built one a few years ago. I don't remember where he lives somewhere up in the mid west. I think he is very happy with it as his Mk55H show/toy boat.
Since 1925, about 150 different racing outboards have been made.
