My problem was always finding a driver with short legs like me! I even had someone suggest duct taping big blocks to my feet so I could reach the pedal! LOL

But short legs meant I could cram my body way up into the nose of the boat, so planing off was a snap - was sure nice to get a jump on the rest of the pack especially when there were 65 entries.

But being wedged in tight up there meant a higher chance of getting stuck in the cockpit in an accident. And so... my right knee is still blue from the steering wheel it yanked out, my neck-bones are fused, and I am missing one of my tricep muscles that rammed side of the cockpit when I stuffed @ 65.

If I got back into it, it would have to be in a capsuled boat.

Ron, is the mini enduro going to happen. I've got a guy trying to sell me a couple of old 40hp omc's for under $100. I'll put one on my 12' aluminum fishing boat . Now that sounds like fun.

    Default I Hope So...

I drove 1,200 miles this weekend to support a "PLAY DAY" for Grass Roots Racers....If we really want a Boat Racing Family, all levels of racing need support, COACHING, and respect.

I be very honest with you, I feel aluminum boats with reasonable power would be cool in Division I...

If we can get 20 entries by the end of April..not paid, just people who say they'll "RACE"...Will (Will350 Tower Project) want to run his Polaris...I love to have a RUN WHAT YOU'VE GOT 3 Hour Enduro for motors 75 HP and under....

I drove that Fat C, on Saturday, and to be honest, it was more fun than a MOD VP...Why?? Well a Mod VP burn $20-$30 an hour worth of gas, you have $20,000 in it and if you went out and crashed it, you could kill yourself... The Fat C, drove like a Go kart...Had noise, not a lot, but you could that engine "ARKING"...and I knew if I broke it it would be fixable for a coule hndred, max...I burned up maybe $3.00 worth of gas and oil...And, the speed gave me a thrill...but I knew if I tipped her over, I'd just get wet...

Bring on the Aluminum boat....when you get tired of racing, you can patrol!!!! Cool thing about aluminm boats, big sign boards n the sides, and lots of room for two or three in the boat...

Default Well, No One Has "KICKED THE DOOR" Down...

Am I going to have to own all the boats for this RACE???

We need 15 entries...Not the money, just people that say they'd come and run....It could be a "LIBERAL" Race, where everyone wins!!!
