Original "BAT BOAT" To Enter Division I

Brad Menet, owner of Amber Marine, an OLD patrol boater, at Parker...(With the Eastmans)...Is going to bring the 16 foot ORIGINAL Glastron BAT BOAT to the Blue Water Casino 300.....He needs a Co-Driver or three....I told him, I'd be one Co-Driver....This will be a Division I boat...

Is this a pipe dream or a dream come true? Is there anything I can do to help move this "promise" along the way. If a driver is needed, I can get Eric out to Parker as a driver--he can IRON MAN it if no one else is available! Rod

Ron Hill has all of the info on the Bat Boat--call him if you would like to join the "BAT TEAM". All drivers must be APBA members. One day memberships can be obtained at registration for the Parker 300. Rod

So, Ron Hill has entered the Bat Boat and will also be driving it. He doesn't need to do too much, just keeper running and he should be in the money! not to mention the PR he should get, Once a showman always a showman! Well, I have designed a BAT HAT for him to wear in the race and will present it to him at the drivers meeting, if he does in fact enter the BAT BOAT. ROD
