Ron, I ran Parker in 1983 with a new 20 Baker. A good friend of mine , Paul Lehr split the driving in your Eliminator that year.We picked up our boat at Baker's shop and rigged it days before the race. I remember the first Darth Baker was just being completed at the time for Bill Sirious I believe. I can't remember if he ran at Parker or not that year. Thanks to you and your props, I dominated all of the outlaw races in our area. Also region 3 high point in Mod-VP the same year. Thanks again......George Fuller

Jimbo McConnell and I spent part of a day making this list...The fact that he won in 1982 and 1984, seemed he would have remembered who won in 1983...

Did John Mesch win with a co-driver we can't recall who it was...

Seems it my mind, it was like a red and white Seebold with a Merc. We had been fueling Ganaro Garcia's boat and we had a small problem, they were third overall, late in the race, and we ended up knocking a hole in the inside of the sponson while trailering the boat...Seems I felt Ganaro would have won...26 years ago...hard to recall.

In 2000 there was a 2 x 2 hour race held on 6-7 May.

Winner was Todd Bowden, 2nd. Garry Vogel, 3rd John Marles.

1976 was won by Jimbo McConnell and Geoff Briggs in the Goat boat and an Evinrude/Johnson V4.( I believe they changed the engine cowl at pit stops.) This is the year we were leading for most of the race in a Cougar with the new Evinrude CCC, until it ran out of fuel on the lap I was coming in. After the boat was retrived with police escort the boat was refuelled and went on to finish Sixth overall

The 9 Hour was never won with a "GOAT BOAT", but the 1976 Parker 9 Hour was won by Bob Larson and Geoff Briggs. They ran a Scotti with a V-4 mid section and a near stock Evinrude V-6.

There was a year that Jmbo raced Evinrudes (Evinrude cowling) and his co-driver had a Johnson cowling. I'll ask Jimbo.
