How are you. I hear that mom & dad are in their palace in Florida!

I'm doing good working my Arse off and taking care of the house. Mom and Dad are in Fla. and should be back at the end of the month.

Craig Furnal....post some pictures of your dad's boats....PLEASE! If you see Jon Stone tell him hello...for me... Jon Stone's 1970 win, in DSH, still stands out in my mind, as one of the GREATEST D Hydro runs in history!!!!

At the 1977 Stock Nationals in Bakersfield, Stoney had a trailer with about 8 boats on it...after the heat races were over Sunday, someone was supposed to head back to NY with the rigs....But before they left, it was about 95 degrees, Jon, Leigh, Eric Wolf...and about five others were sitting in their lawn chairs along the shore, , butts wet, drinking a beer.....They all agreed there was no reason to go home....As the sun was setting, they were still there...enjoying the day!!!!

I will see what I can do with posting pictures.

I think I even have a picture of the StoneAge trailer with the whole crew next to it.

...Something about Bakersfiield, in the summer, with a beer, that makes me think I AM HOME... Same with Needles!!! A nice place to "PONDER LIFE"....

Agree ... heard some pretty amazing stories and saw ROFLMAO things take place in the Rio Bravo bar over the years ... too bad it's gone!
