Since 1925, about 150 different racing outboards have been made.
on a jet pump ya start out with our motors from a dead stop and just grunt the low end to get tbe boat out of the hole and plane the boat out and then crack the throttle in for the top end. all this is cut by 1/3 with the foot.Originally Posted by Mark75H

oh I've already stepped out of the box from doin everything the same way, I just gotta see if it works. fed ex de-commisioned my motor last week by droppin somethin on it, just waitin on them to pay for some stuff so I can get it on the boat and really prove how bad it is. boat races are this august 4th or 7th. try gatorjetboats.com for the exact date but it's close, I'll keep ya posted on when they are. keep an eye on the jets section on thread outboard jet in progress and that's my boat bein started, you might have already saw it but we'll definatley keep ya posted an ya should come watch the race, and I'll keep tryin to think of somethin different to make it a little more interesting.
