    Default Don Nichols

    Sad news out of Louisiana as Don Nichols passed away on Tuesday September 21st. Don won the 700cch National championship in 1986 , 500cch in 1987 and retired from racing shortly after that and turned his attention to building and tuning motors. May he rest in peace.

    Default 1974 Dayton Nationals

    In the book Speed and Spray I remember seeing Wyatt Nelson's name in J Runabout. He bought some 45 blocks a few years back and then I called him to see if he was happy with them. He said, "I'm happy with them." We talked at least an hour. We covered a lot of ground...
