    Ron,
    Sorry about that. I remember having a conversation with you prior to the Hudson and I was also in Canton that year. Maybe the years ran the two together. I really thought you had the Desilva at the Hudson. My apologies.
    DiPetro ran a twin engine Cobia at times, don't know if that is the boat referred to or not.
    Wasn't Fred Hartman's red boat, Freddy, an Eltro?

    Freddy had an Eltro, it was a boat originally built for Linder. Beale is correct De Pietra's boat was a cut down Cobia..... It ran real well in the Orange Bowl Regatta the year before... We came in right behind him with a 17" Glastron in JJ......

    You posted a picture of Freddy falling out of his Eltro..........as I recall.
