    Default Best o p c racer or.....most popular ?

I think there is (has to be) a big difference there. I can think of one current european champion ,who i think is a "DIRTY" , reckless driver, he is great, in that he's a many time champ, but he'd NEVER be great in my eyes , if i had to like him. And , i am sure you can all guess who i am talking about. On the other hand , if i measure BEST by being GOOD at driving , and popularity , then in my book, Jimbo is the all time greatest . NO contest. I remember once at the Parker 9 hour enduro, after about 3 hours, Jimbo walked by me , and i said , Jimbo, you're not doing so well? He smiled GENTLY to me and said "9 hours is a long time ".

The female driver who I admired the most was Jean McKay Schwartz when she ran Sport E. She was (still is) tough as nails and regularly hammered the guys in west coast racing. This was back in the early 80s!

And I think she's still racing today!

    Default My opinion.

I think ANY female who gets in a race boat of any size or hp is great. We all know not just anyone can or will jump in one of these things and mix it up at speed.
