Quincy Welding Employees

Joe Rome asked me to list all the employees who worked at Quincy Welding throughout the history of the company.

I enlisted the aid of Chris's most loyal employee; Lucille Oshner.
Lucy ran the office for Chris for over 29 years and I can think of no one better qualified to provide this information than she.

Not all employees were involved directly in the racing operations, but all were vital to the success of the racing operations. The company could not have existed without the outside repair business.

We will begin with those who have preceeded us on the journey to "Lake Paradise"

O.F.Christner, J.W. Baxter, Harold Bockhaus, Elmer Crouch, Jim Donley, Gene Glasgow, Jim Griffin, Eldon Hall, Al Herrmann, Tony Hoebing, Earle Hull, Bob Kelly, LeRoy Kelly, Fred Kleemeyer, Mike Malaney, Jack McGrury, Elmo Smith, Vernon Van Velkinburg, Melvin Wagy and Herman Weber.

Rest in peace old friends!

Former employees still with us include:

Thank you for all your help on this Lucy, and thank you for all you did in the nearly 30 years you were with Quincy Welding.

Hi Gene,

Lucy missed one. My brother Harvey Crabtree worked at Quincy Welding for about 2 years in the late 70's as a welder. Lucy is a great gal, I got a big hug from her at the O.F.Christner Memorial race.

There was also a machinist named Jack Triplette that work there in the late 70's early 80's.
