    Default St Louis ?? (81,82)

If you were there, I know you couldn't forget the red Hydrostream, Chris Bush I think, but it put on a show and through driving or a miracle, it made it. Correct me on the date and who was driving the red hydrosteam, memory is foggy, lol.

Dad was holding the 2nd boat there, the 105 380 with Roark driving... That was 82 I believe, I'll talk to him tomorrow and see what he has to say about it.

well, almost 2 years later I finally talked to dad with these pictures in front of us. These were in '82, 2 days after Joe Burgess had been killed. Roark was driving the boat, dad is in the picture holding the motor. He can't remember the name of the driver on pole position but aparently that fool had been talking about how he was going to lead the laser to the first pin... anyways, the flag dropped and Roark went ahead and ran out on them boys pretty bad, ran the entire back straight alone... the man was on a mission, he would have ran away with it had he now rolled that boat. Powerboat Magainze had an article about it, I belive called "This one's for Joe" or something of that nature. Sorry it took so long to get back on this, I rarely get the chance to get with dad and a computer and hear his stories.

Well now it`s 12 years later. Clear me up on something Matt. Who`s driving Joe`s other boat with 270 on the side?
