    Default Let Me Add....

Not that Ross won't add but...
    let me add..

Thanks to Rod Zapf for making 1,000 posters for The Blue Water Resort and Casino 300 Enduro, for the last three years. Rod has raised the $1,000 for these posters...Bill Reiter has help with money all three years...

Rod has set the course out all three years...

Rod has raced all three years...

He helped safety inspect all three years...

Rod has spent hours figuring out the handicaps for this race.....and if you look at the top ten, I, I, IV, VI, V, IV, IV, V, I, II. The handicaps may need some tweaking, but... The goal of The Blue Water Resort and casino 300 Enduro was to BRING BACK FUN, FAMILY and Friends...

Seems 50 boats entered...Red ZONES worked. No one ended up in the hospital...

When we originally planned classes, we said we wanted MOST of the moeny to go to classes and OVERALL Would be Status......

Rod, deserves much credit for this race being a REAL RACE....

Thanks to Ted Kolby, Inboard Endurance Chairman, for keeping all of us focused...Ted has a great business sense....Even though he thinks WHISKERS is spelled with no "H".... Thanks Ted....

Scott Schotz came to Parker to just work. He race P-9 a Cracker Box....Thanks Scott and thanks for bringing Broc Hill to Parker...

Bryan Wilson, Doug Rae, Roger Carr, Pat Whitcomb, and John Castelli put in two of three hard days labor...I bought you all a drink but I still want to say THANK YOU!!!

Annie Hoban.........Thank you!!!!! I know I've left some Thanks Yous off, but Ross can finish my post.....

    Ron,

each year the handicaps will get tweaked to achieve parity. Nobody is perfect and you guys are doing your best to make the race as fair and close as possible. I had a great time and you are correct it is about fun. I met a lot of new friends and got to hang out with with some old friends. I want to thank Annie Hoban and all the other people that helped at the registration. They made things flow smoothly. You could not ask for a nicer guy than Ted Kolby. His dedication to the circleboat world is huge. The 300 is something that will always be on my calender as a "must do."
    Thank you Ron,

    Tony

Default Am writing up the article

Easy Ron, I have been slammed since my return and am in the process of putting together the article thanking everyone, especially, Rod, yourself, Ted, the officials, volunteers, patrol/tow boat drivers and crew, rescue, sponsors, etc. Just got off the night shift and trying to get my bearings this morning. Also, I don't like to throw something out without giving it my full consideration.
Last, There was a clerical error and that is why it was entered backwards, it has now been corrected. I apologize for not catching it sooner. This is what I received from my Chief Scorer:
Sorry - in my haste to send I didn't take into account the times as well (that was done at the racesite.) I made the changes and have attached. When I ran the program to group them, the program sorted to the 1st available with the amount of laps.
Should you have any further questions please PM at rossdbos26@yahoo.com or (310) 318-4012
    Sincerely,
    Ross Wallach, RPM RACING ENT.

    Default Aren't We All???

Ross...Was not "RUSHING" you as I've actually had things to do this week, too...I just didn't want to THANK most and leave some out....This was quite and event, and I've heard from several people how great they thought things went....and they won't miss it next year!!!!

Tinker and I got the motor off the Baker, with Broc's help, today, and she (The #34 Baker) will back at her "OFF SEASON" home in Apple Valley Saturday morning....

I thought about running her in Nostalgia, but as long as I didn't get elected...........No... Anyway, Broc and I will be a Parker Thanksgiving, so plan on about two or three for dinner...(MAXIMUS, throw on another TURKEY or deep fry it!!!!!).
