    Default A Very Sweet Piece...

For those of you who have never driven a Sleek Craft tunnel, let me TRY to explain to you the feeling...

Bruce Nescher was quite a designer. He built this Sleek SST 20 for Drag Racing and Phil Percevil, no relationship to Tom Persevil of V-8 OMC fame, did the tooling on the deck...

The Sleek Craft would corner on a DIME...I never remember it skipping out, no matter what the water conditions. Because it was designed for drag racing, the bow would "POP" up as soon as any power was added and she'd never do anything but keep climbing.... Once you got rolling, you'd have to get on the down button and stay there until the corner...

If you pointed the boat left, she'd go left. If you pointed her right, she'd go right...And I'm talking that she'd do this a 90 plus MPH....

I'll bet driving this Sleek Craft on this lake with that New Mercury is really more fun than a man can stand!!!!

Throw her into a corner, and "POP a Wheelie" coming off the turn and you're gone!!!!

    Beautiful lines those old Sleeks...

I thought that lake looked familiar!! Have you seen the "Bayside Marine" boat out there running twin 150 E-Tecs?? No worries, you would blow the E-Tecs away..............until we rig the boat this winter with twin 200HO E-Tecs...........
