    Default NEW Mod VP pics...

I finally got a printer/scanner combo so I can finally upload some of the Mod VP pics from the old days. Not to many, can't really see that much in them, but they're vintage!

Clayton Duffee 380 Ray, Marine Creek Lake, Lake Worth, TX

    St. Louis

16' Allison at Marine Creek Lake, Lake Worth, TX

Not sure where this was, looks like that Hydrostream had a bad day

    Marine Creek Lake also

Not sure where this is, maybe Marble Falls?

I believe this is Roark leaving the dock...

Brand new LTV, not sure where this was.

Dallas Boat Show, not sure on the year but thats me behind the boat in the blue hat, probably 3 years old (~1986)
My uncle Gary still owns this boat, and it still looks that good.

Also me ~18 months, started young...

The boat racing equivilent to the Yankee's Murderer's Row... Team Seebold, St. Louis ~1997

The last few aren't Mod VP but I wanted to throw them in.

LOL! I happen to know this boat. It was the 4th one out of the mold(#'s 1&2 went to Chris Bush I understand) and this one went to David Goodfellow out of Fort Worth TX. He built that trailer in his garage and he raced the boat for several years with a 235 Evinrude before selling it to another man here in the Fort Worth area. The boat was blown over but is still in storage with minor damage to the rear deck area on one side. Structually sound. David verified that the trailer was his and that was his old boat. He was out at Lake Grapevine to watch an early test session with Roark and Chris Bush. He saw the boat run and plunked down the $$$$ right there with Roark.

Thumbs up More info on David's Yellow LTV...

I just sent him this pic and he got a big kick out of it. He said the boat was supposed to be in the 400# range but ended up around 570#. He ran it in a few SORA races but mainly ran SDBA with a modded 235 and a big load of N2O.

Cool pic and good to see some pics of the old girl..

He seems to be sitting up pretty high in that boat. I remember when Roark asked dad to drive Chris's boat a couple times the seat was so low in the boat dad sat on a pillow to see over the dash.

Got any pictures of the difference between the long and short deck boats?

    Default Goodfellow's LTV

David and I were talking right after he was a Lake Grapevine when Roark and Chris were testing the original boat. He was raaving about how the new boat turned and accelerated. I believe they were testing it against a 380 Ray which is a pretty fair circle boat in its own right. I gues the new LTV was killing the Ray no matter who drove which boat.

We all know the outcome when the LTV and Chris Bush hit the IOGP Circuit.

David's boat was a long deck. Chris ran a short deck in the IOGP.
