Photos - Austin's F Loopers

These are pictures from the DePue Reunion 2007 of Dick Austin 's Quincy F Looper and Quincy Merc collection. It's my understanding that many people really appreciated the quality of Dick's restoration of both his historic motors and race boats.

His custom trailer, which he designed and built himself, is an engineering marvel.

Dick took the Quincy F Looper out on the lake to show everyone just how loud those 6 cylinder Loopers are. Can you imagine when there were 5 or 6 running all in one heat? Believe me, I have ringing memories of their sound.

Those are awesome motors my friend,can you tell me what type boats those are. I know there conventional hydros but who is the manufacturor.
